1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GAutoMail (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and GAutoMail.
2. Description of Service
GAutoMail is an AI-powered email automation platform that connects to your Gmail account via Google's OAuth 2.0 protocol to help you generate, review, and send email responses. The Service uses artificial intelligence trained on your knowledge base to draft replies to incoming emails.
Key features include:
- Gmail inbox synchronisation via the Gmail API (read-only access)
- AI-powered email response generation based on your custom knowledge base
- Review, edit, and approval workflow before any email is sent
- Email sending on your behalf via the Gmail API (send access)
3. Account Registration & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
- One person may not maintain more than one account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
4. Gmail Integration & Google API Usage
By connecting your Gmail account to GAutoMail, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
4.1. Authorisation
- You authorise GAutoMail to access your Gmail account using the following OAuth 2.0 scopes:
- gmail.readonly — to read incoming emails for AI response generation
- gmail.send — to send approved responses on your behalf
- You confirm that you have the authority to grant access to the connected Gmail account
- You can revoke access at any time through the Service settings or via your Google Account permissions page
4.2. Google API Compliance
Important: GAutoMail's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In accordance with Google's policies:
- We only use Gmail data to provide and improve user-facing features of the Service
- We do not transfer Gmail data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law
- We do not use Gmail data for advertising purposes
- We do not allow humans to read Gmail data except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law
4.3. Your Responsibilities
- You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated email responses before sending
- You are solely responsible for the content and consequences of all emails sent through the Service
- You must comply with all applicable email laws and regulations, including anti-spam legislation
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use GAutoMail to:
- Send spam, unsolicited emails, or bulk commercial messages
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm another person
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other malicious code
- Impersonate another person, entity, or organisation
- Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data
6. AI-Generated Content
You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated email responses are draft suggestions only and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate content
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all responses before they are sent
- GAutoMail provides no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content
- GAutoMail is not liable for any consequences arising from emails you choose to send through the Service
- AI responses are generated based on the knowledge base content you provide — the quality of outputs depends on the quality of your inputs
7. Knowledge Base & User Content
- You retain full ownership of your knowledge base content and email data
- You grant GAutoMail a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your content solely to provide and improve the Service for your account
- You are responsible for ensuring your knowledge base content does not violate any third-party rights
- We do not use your content to train AI models for other users or purposes outside of your account
8. Intellectual Property
GAutoMail retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its technology, algorithms, user interface, and documentation. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written consent.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information, including Google user data. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Service Availability & Modifications
- We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice
- We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by service interruptions, whether planned or unplanned
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory
- We disclaim all warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service
- Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GAutoMail, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time by disconnecting your Gmail account and requesting account deletion
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion
- Upon termination, all associated data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Sections 6, 8, 11, 12, and 14 shall survive termination
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service.
